HELP. MY ATTENTION SPAN IS GONE.

So this weekend was not nearly so free and easy as I'd thought it would be. I really hate Skyla's mom right about now.

On the plus side, we did have a bunch of teenaged girls over watching all three Death Note movies and they all thought L was adorable (he SO is) and one of them was all 'omg, Light looks like Ohno!' and Ed--ED--identifies him as 'Sunrise Nippon Ohno'. Because seriously, Light spends a lot of time looking like a younger Ohno Satoshi and that just might be the right era (I was going for a little bit of 'Kotoba Yori' Ohno myself). Sadly, I had two moments of 'I know that actor/actress!' during the movies and was totally right. It's sort of sad. But NOT as sad as recognizing the kid from the Love So Sweet video as being the American kid in YamaTaro.

ANYHOW, rambling aside, I owe comments yet. I will get to them asap. For now, have my other entry in to the shoneenclub contest.

How did I forget that summer is my busiest time?

Though I'm not surprised because I ALSO managed to delete...just about everything on Hiyori. After two days Ed got back most of my music, some of my videos, and a handful of my writing files. Don't expect to see me on very much in the next few weeks. Everybody, I swear I'll get back to comments. For now, please let me say that they do mean a lot to me and I'm very grateful you've taken the time to talk to me.

BUT! More importantly! I missed Aki's birthday (I deleted things just for YOU! orz) and I am very late with her present. But I love her completely. That's why I wrote an Ohno-is-an-incubus AU for her!

In other news, this was my story from the short-story contest over at ohmiya. You'll have to page back a few to find all the entries but there was some SERIOUS awesome there. I wrote MINE in two hours and I'm surprised it even got a vote and I don't think I did vintage_belle's prompt justice. I might try to write something with this prompt again sometime when I am not so swamped. (On the plus side for ME is that honooko did a flail-worthy cute fic with one of the prompts that I left. Find it over at abscondpress. I LOVE HER.)

That aside...um. Ahahahaha. Apparently when I thought I posted this to sei_shoku's Bi-weekly Theme Work: AU post I...totally didn't. Either I was sicker than I thought or I just failed to notice the fact that LJ was being very robust at the time.

THIS is the one that I was going to trash because when I am sick I write emotive, angsty crap. And then I thought 'ah, I can just bury it over at the end of the post!' except for the fact that the theme is over and it's twelve pages in Word. That would be a LOT of comments to leave. orz

Moving along. Remember the drabble/short-story contest that ohmiya was hosting (the short-story contest portion remains open, fyi)? Well, these were my entries for the drabbles. I was unable to stick to the 100 words=drabble thing that I am usually such a bitch about. DDD: Shame, I feel it.

This is a lot harder than I thought. Normally I'm a fairly slow writer anyhow so even doing one story a day can be a little challenging…so doing two or more is really sort of wearing and a little stressful. I'm going to finish because I want to finish but next year? Well. I'll either start work BEFORE it comes up or else, if I can't write every day, I'll just skip the whole thing.

That said, on to day…seven? Seven.
